PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
The Restorative Care Assistant program at Americation Trade and Career School is designed to make an individual equipped with skills required to work in the healthcare field. This program is developed for teaching students’ techniques and makes them capable of providing physical restorative caring to out-patients visiting hospital for consultation and admitted patients undergoing restorative therapy in rehabilitation centers, home health and long term facility providers in this respect.
Our Restorative Care Assistant program teaches the learner the skills to work patient care related settings for treatment area preparation, moving the patients, and performing other clerical duties. Under the supervision of a qualified licensed professional the Restorative Care Assistant may be required to assist treatment sessions. This program is designed to teach students the skills to work in rehabilitation centers such as a physical therapy clinics, chiropractors office, occupational therapy clinics, rehabilitation facilities, nursing facilities and other places where Restorative Care Assistant are required.
At successfully completion of the program the students will be eligible for the Restorative Care Assistant Specialist Certification Exam.
At completion of the program the student will be awarded with a certificate of completion.
