Well career schools are traditionally aimed in provided directed course of study focusing on training and/or skills that the students may required for a specific job, as oppose to a four year college that traditionally focuses of providing a broad spectrum of educational topics that is theory centered and leads to skills of critical thinking. CAREER SCHOOL AND HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT The reality is that career schools are an affordable and practical way for a career focused student, and many high school graduates are choosing career school as their next step after high school graduation. In-fact some students are looking out for career school options even before completing their high school. In recent years the trend has changed a lot, earlier students only applied for colleges and universities, however, now graduates are also looking into and enrolling into career schools. THE REPORTS As reported by U.S. Department of Education students that graduated with a career education are employed slightly more that students with academic credentials and are students of career education reported working in the job that was related to their field of study as compared to the students that graduated with academic credentials. United states has 30 million jobs that paid and average of $55000 yearly and did not require a bachelor’s degree according to the Georgetown center . THE SMART CHOICE Career school programs are becoming a smart choice for students that want to work with their hands and learn with experience. Like colleges and universities, career schools also offer oncampus, hybrid, and online classes, making it possible for students to attend flexible schedules.
